College used to just be for rich smart white people, but now it’s for everyone who says basically a lot. Only a few people get to go to actually good colleges though, and the colleges sure hope that it’s not all rich smart white people but sometimes it ends up being only them anyway. That is because college is expensive (rich) and you have to get good grades and write an organized essay to get in (smart) and they can’t ask you if you’re white or not and if they do you don’t have to answer. For this reason, they make it so that if you do a lot of stuff, you have a better chance of getting in. This way, they can get a read on you. For instance, if you’re in the Future Asian Leaders of America club, they can pretty much guess that you aren’t white. The only other way they can tell is if your name is Tyrell or Pei Pei Sung. In their defense, they also like to see that you do activities to make sure that you’re not a heroin addict. Heroin addicts never do too many after school activities.
